This is a palm oil refinery plant for Kirana Palm Oil Refinery to produce refined, bleached and deodorised (RBD) palm oil, palm olein, palm stearin and palm fatty acid distillate (PFAD), Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO), Palm Kernel Expeller (PKE) and other related products.
The plant includes two refinery process building, a biomass boiler with store, Crude Palm Oil receiving station，Storage Tank and miscellaneous building to support the processing plant.
The Refinery is capable of processing about 2,400 metric tonnes of CPO per day.
The site for the Refinery are strategically located near the deep-sea Bintulu Port which will handle exports of all palm oil products for the Bintulu-Miri region in Sarawak transportation cost is relatively low.
