Jurutera Jasa (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd is an engineering consultant firm in Malaysia providing a comprehensive range of engineering consultancy services to government and private sector clients.
The firm specializes in the fields of Civil and Structural Engineering, Oil & Gas, Drainage & Irrigation, Water Supply, Roads, Bridges, Transportation and Environmental Planning. Jurutera Jasa (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd was established in 1990 and currently has the capacity to design and supervise project development value of up to USD 1 billion annually.

Engineering Sustainability
At Jurutera Jasa (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, we believe each of us owes something to the communities we live and work in. As a company, we pay it through the work we do.
Efficiency is not a new idea in engineering. Engineers have always used resources wisely, designed for durability, and met the required performance with no more material, energy or cost than necessary. The principle long predates the global concern with atmospheric carbon. What has changed is that it must now be applied deliberately rather than assumed.
The context has changed with it. The Environment (Reduction of Greenhouse Gases Emission) Ordinance, 2023 came into force on 1 March 2024 and made Sarawak the first state in Malaysia to enact such a law. The Sarawak Sustainability Blueprint 2030 and the Sarawak Hydrogen Energy Roadmap set the State’s course towards a green and hydrogen economy. All of it rests on infrastructure that has to be planned, designed, built and operated, and our clients are the ones who will answer for it. Our part is to help them through engineering decisions taken early, when they shape the most and cost the least to change.
Sustainability extends beyond the projects we design. We give our people workplaces that are safe, healthy and functional, and that engender integrity and fairness. Our directors and employees work to procurement guidelines with zero tolerance for corrupt practices. The health and safety of our people, and the condition of the places we work in, weigh heavily in every decision, most of all on site.

We are a group of people dedicated to the creative design and holistic planning of engineering works, and to ensure that they are built based on sound engineering principles and wise use of resources to benefit the community.
