This plant is located next to the Kemuyang refuse landfill. This septic sludge treatment plant is designed to receive and treat sludge collected from septic tanks and package plants surrounding Sibu town of up to 200m3/day. The collected septic sludge is treated using SBR system. Sludge is then dewatered to 20% and stabilized using lime before sent to landfill.
